Wish I lived close but wishing you the best at your launch party! I pre-ordered Grandma's Gloves and can't wait to get it! However, I just got DOTTY delivered today and WOW! LOVE your illustrations and the story! So well done! I love the style you used!
Great work!!
Aw, thanks so much Phyllis! so glad you are enjoying Dotty, it was a lot of fun to make. Happy summer (and drawing) to you!
I am so impressed with the overall design of this book as well! They spared no expense with the all the fun additions like the glitter, etc. And I'm in love with polka-dots!
You have an amazing sense of style in your work. It has such a nostalgic feel, yet modern. I can see you love fashion and textiles from your blog and it certainly shows in your work.
Happy summer to you as well!
I wish I could go to this event!! I ordered Dotty, can't wait to get it. :)
The book looks amazing, congrats! I wish I could come to the launch, but I don't think we'll be in town that weekend :( If that changes will certainly swing by... I hate to miss a chance to wear my garden wellies!
I really wish I could go!!!!
I shared it on facebook :)
btw, I am so envious of you to not only to work with Castellucci, but to meet her as well!!! :)
I loved Plain Janes...
Congrats on the new book!! I will have to pick up a copy next time I am at a bookstore (as well as a copy of Dotty)!

breath taking art. I am so glad I found your work through twitter. Your pieces are so beautiful. I am sorry we didn't get a chance to meet you and make it to your book party. We did hustle over to the Curious George store yesterday. We were able to buy one of the signed copies of Grandma's Gloves, but there were no Dotty books left.
The image of the mom and daughter touching hands is perfect. Do you sell prints?
Cheers-Casey
as always i am behind on my commenting, but almost always following along! I LOVE your illustrations for this book, particularly the last with the mother and daughter. beautiful work :)
